Dual Voltage Switches
Hitachi Energy USA Distribution Transformer Components tap changers and dual voltage switches are de-energized, rotary type switches suitable for use in both pole and pad-mounted transformers. Tap changers are available that can handle up to 200 kV BIL and 150 amps, while dual voltage switches are available that can handle up to 125 kV BIL and 150 amps. The switches are configurable with many options including the number of decks, termination choices, handle styles, and dial plate designations. These switches were designed and tested in accordance with IEEE standard C57.12.00-2000.
